P-Con 4 is taking place on the 10th-11th March, 2007. The Guest of Honour is Kim Newman, while other guests confirmed for the convention include Ariel, Michael Carroll, Paul Cornell, Diane Duane, George Green, Paul Kearney, Conor Kostick, Oisin McGann, Juliet E McKenna, Ken MacLeod, Deborah J. Warner Brothers have very kindly donated ten sets of double tickets for the preview screening of V for Vendetta to the raffle and charity auction at the convention. The bad news on the P-Con III guest front is that Eugene Byrne will be unable to attend due to committments to the Brunel 200 celebrations. The good news is that Charlie Stross will be attending the convention in March. More on these stories on the P-Con website.

Congratulations to Ian McDonald for winning the British Science Fiction Association Best Novel award for his book River of Gods.

At the time of writing, two P-CON III guests, Susanna Clarke and the aforementioned Ian McDonald, as well as P-Con II guest Charlie Stross have been nominated for Hugo Awards. More news as we get it.
