The Phoenix Convention, or P-CON for short, is a science fiction, fantasy, and horror convention, with an emphasis towards the literary ends of the genres. P-CON III, the third Phoenix Convention, will take place in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate St, Dublin 8 on the 11th and 12th of March, 2006.
The Guest of Honour at P-CON III is 2005 Hugo Award winning Susanna Clarke and other guests (at present) include Danielle Ackley-McPhail, Ariel (editor of the Alien Online), Paul Cornell, Diane Duane, Maggie Furey, Colin Greenland, James P Hogan, Paul Kearney, Ian McDonald, Juliet E McKenna, Peter Morwood, Leah Moore, John Reppion, John W Sexton, Charlie Stross, Colin Smythe and Steve Westcott, along with the editorial team of Irish SF magazine Albedo One.

Joining the convention is easy. Just download an application form, which you can find in the Joining the Con section and return it to the Convention

You can join immediately by using Paypal. If you have got a Paypal account, just use the Paypal button on the Joining information page.

You can join on the door at the convention itself.
The rates at present are €25 for full membership (€ 35 on door) and €15 for supporting membership, and there are more details available in the Joining the Con section.
Sections will be added or expanded throughout the run-up to the convention, and, of course, news items will be appearing on a regular basis.
