The Ashling Hotel is a well appointed and old-fashioned hotel, in the good sense of the phrase. Anyone who was at the first Convention will know that the staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was excellent.
The hotel is located on Parkgate Street on the banks of the river and is ideal for anyone coming to Dublin for the weekend, as it is only a few minutes away from the city centre, without being too close.
The hotel is only a short walk from the Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo, and is also within a few minutes of Heuston Station. There is more information about the hotel on their website, which you can visit at www.ashlinghotel.ie.
As well as the convention hotel, there are a number of other places to stay on Parkgate Street. There’s Sadler’s Inn, which two doors down from the Ashling Hotel, and you can see it's website at www.sadlersinn.com , the Phoenix Park House at 38/39 Parkgate Street, which you can find out more about on www.dublinguesthouse.com , and the Kingsbridge B&B, directly next-door to the con hotel, which you can find out more about here .
